These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of original artworks by Andrea Castro. By accessing this site or commissioning a portrait, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. PURCHASING & PAYMENTS

  • Availability: All original artworks are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Pricing: Prices are listed in Euros (€). While I strive for consistency, prices are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Payment Terms: For gallery pieces, payment is required in full before shipping. For bespoke commissions, a 50% deposit is required to secure your place in the studio schedule, with the remaining balance due upon completion and approval of the work.

3. Shipping and international Delivery

  • Handling: Every artwork is professionally packaged to museum standards. Shipping costs are calculated as a flat rate and include a tracking number.

  • Processing Time: Ready-to-ship pieces are dispatched within 3–5 business days. For commissions, please refer to the specific timeline discussed during the consultation.

  • Customs & Duties: International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or local taxes. (Note: Original oil paintings shipped to the US typically benefit from a 0% import tariff).

4. Returns, Refunds & cancellations

  • ReOriginal Artworks: If you are not completely satisfied, you have 7 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return.

  • Return Conditions: The artwork must be returned in its original, pristine condition. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and must ensure the piece is fully insured and securely packaged. Refunds will not be issued for works damaged due to improper return handling.

  • Commissions: Due to their personalized nature, bespoke commissions are non-refundable once the painting process has begun.

  • Damages: In the rare event of transit damage, please contact me within 7 days of receipt with detailed photographs of the packaging and the artwork to arrange a solution.

5. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • All artworks, images, and digital content on this website are the sole intellectual property of Andrea Castro. The purchase of a physical painting does not transfer copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any imagery is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

6. Privacy 6 data protection

  • Your privacy is paramount. Personal information is used exclusively for processing orders and direct communication. I do not engage in spam or share your data with third parties.
